Surplus food distribution

GAYLORD - The Otsego County TEFAP, a federal surplus food program which targets low-income families who may be in need of additional food items, is currently holding its annual registration.

Low-income families may register between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily at the United Way Building, 116 E. Fifth St.

First Call for Help, in cooperation with the Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency in Alpena will make surplus food available to the people of Otsego County on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the United Way Building, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
