Otsego County Economic Alliance: Ratcliffe honored by Economic Developers Association

LANSING - Jeff Ratcliffe, executive director of the Otsego County Economic Alliance, has been is the recipient of the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA) President's Award.
Ratcliffe, also a member of MEDA, received the award earlier this month at the MEDA's educational program “Economic Development Boynd Our Borders: A Look at the Federal Strengthening America's Communities” Initiative and the Midwest Economy.”
The President's Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated commitment to the profession of economic development, leadership, and has shown a record of achievement, according to MEDA officials. “Jeff Ratcliffe has been a valued member of MEDA for over the past 10 years,” stated a release announcing the award. “Jeff's efforts this year as Taskforce Chair on our Strategic Planning Taskforce have truly been invaluable. His time and efforts in updating our strategic plan has demonstrated his dedication and leadership for our association.
“We hope that Jeff will serve as an inspiration to others in helping shape our association,” concluded the news release.
MEDA has been the leader of economic development in Michigan for more than 40 years. Its members strive to build and retain economic development in Michigan. With membership climbing toward 400, the association is dedicated to provide services and benefits geared with expanded insight toward Michigan's future.
