ROSCOMMON - The legendary sounds of Motown will flood northern Michigan Saturday, Jan. 27 when the Kirtland Center for the Performing Arts (KPCA) presents The Las Vegas Tribute to Motown.

The audience will be entertained as the show takes the stage at 8 p.m. to hear some of their favorite songs and feel the magic of Motown memories, as Ron Stevens, Redd Williams, Daniel Mitchell and Erskine Walcott portray The Four Tops, note promoters.

Roz Thomas and The Standins will help people relive hits by The Supremes. Thomas also will portray music legend Diana Ross.

Also rounding out the show in at the main campus in Roscommon will be Nate Evans, Grady Herrell, Terence Dawson, Curtis Taylor and Dennis Inman in their roles as The Temptations.

KPCA officials are also pleased to announce that, beginning with the Jan. 27 performance of The Las Vegas Tribute to Motown and continuing throughout the remaining performance season, child care will be available through the college's Child Care Center. Cost is $5 for the first child, or $10 for two or more children.

"This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family to a Kirtland production and know that the children are being taken care of with age appropriate activities designed just for them," said KCPA director Don Wray.

The Child Care Center, located on campus just a few hundred yards from the KCPA, will open at 7 o'clock performance night, allowing parents to drop off their children, attend a concert and pick them up immediately following the evening's activities.

To purchase tickets or for more information regarding child care services, call the KCPA Ticket Office at 989-275-6777.
