'Gordon the magician' to perform Saturday

Gordon the magician performs magic for children of all ages around the country and internationally.
LEWISTON - A magical evening is coming to Timbertown Saturday by world-renowned magician, Gordon Russ, aka “Gordon the Magician.”
Russ of Ferndale has entertained audiences as far away as Europe, Australia and China since his 1988 debut. He says one of his most memorable moments came when his magic was requested at a private performance for former world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali.
He credits his father for the gift of illusion. Russ said his father “made sure magic was an everyday part of growing up.”
Russ and his wife, Cyndi, have two sons, Gordon and Tanner.

“It’s something to help the mid-winter blues,” said Marcia Andrews, director of the Lewiston Area Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the show.
The show begins at the Lewiston School at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Refreshments are available for purchase.
