Welcome to City Hall: Open for business Monday

The moving trucks backed up to the County Building on Wednesday as the city packed up and moved to its new home at 305 E. Main St.
GAYLORD — After more than a year of construction, followed by a week of moving and settling-in of city officials, Gaylord’s new City Hall will host its first council meeting Monday.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Parking and entrance are located at both the front and rear of the building, at 305 E. Main St.
City officials and police spent the week moving file cabinets, desks, chairs, computer equipment and boxes of personal items to their new offices. By Thursday afternoon, they had officially relocated to the new building.
Normal business activity is expected to return Monday.
