John “Jack” Mosora, loving husband, father and grandfather, age 82, passed away at his residence on May 29, 2008.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen (Mumford) of Gaylord; daughters, Nancy (Ken) Ress of Mandeville, La., Jamie (Tab) Cadwallader of Gaylord; and grandchild, Amanda Ress of Mandeville, La.

Jack grew up in Lincoln Park and married Helen Mumford in 1949. He worked for many years in the car business as a salesman, manager, and general manager for North Bus, Walt Hickey, and Gorno Bros. Ford.

Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. His passion was collecting and carving ice fishing decoys.

As per Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
