By Jeremy Speer
Wednesday, October 1, 2008 11:05 AM EDT

It’s that time again. As the weather begins to cool, high school football begins to heat up, and with four weeks remaining in the season, the playoff picture begins to take place.

For the next month, Herald Times sports editor Jeremy Speer will rank the top teams in Northern Michigan in three seperate categories (Division 1-4, Divisions 5-6 and Divisions 6-7).

The cut-off line is roughly north of Saginaw, and the rankings will include Upper Penisula teams. Enjoy!
