Mr. Frank J. Horvath, age 95, of Johannesburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008. He was born in Joliet, Ill. on July 7, 1913 and moved to Johannesburg in 1979 from Taylor.

Mr. Horvath was an avid bicyclist and swimmer. He enjoyed cutting the grass and was a fan of horseracing and the Chicago Cubs.

Mr. Horvath is survived by his children, Jim (Rosey) Horvath, Kathleen Horvath and Jeanne (Gene) Edwards; grandchildren, Todd (Shannon) Horvath, Christine (Ed) Dunham; and great-grandchildren, Krystal, Patrick and Tara.

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Scott & Mark Tindol.

Funeral services will be held today (Saturday), Nov. 1, 2008 at 3 p.m. from the Nelson Funeral Home, Rev. John McCracken officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Lewiston. Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
