VANDERBILT -- Police are searching for information regarding an armed robbery at the Mobil Gas Station in Vanderbilt, which occurred Friday around 9:40 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, the gas station clerk informed Michigan State Police (MSP) from the Gaylord Post that the subject was a male who wore a black ski mask and a red neoprene mask over the mouth area and robbed her at gun point.

The suspect is further described as wearing a dull pea green coat, blue jeans and being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds.

MSP reported an undetermined amount of money was taken from the station.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact the Gaylord MSP at 732-2778.

Deputies from Otsego County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene and with the investigation.
