MSP, sheriff’s dept. seek information on vandalism in Vanderbilt area

VANDERBILT -- Investigators from the Gaylord Michigan State Police (MSP) post and Otsego County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) are seeking information on several vandalism complaints which have recently occurred in the Vanderbilt area.

The most recent incident was the destruction of a large sign at the Pigeon River Baptist Church on Old 27.

According to church officials. the smashed sign was valued at $2,000 and damaged twice -- the first time on June 28 or 29 and the second time Tuesday night.

Anyone with information about this or other area vandalism in the area should call the MSP at 732-2778 or the sheriff’s department at 732-3555.
